We Don’t Need Another Hero

“I’m just here for the gasoline.” John_0515 takes us to a time right before Thunderdome, when Mad Max was just waging war on the open post-apocalyptic road somewhere in Australia. It’s always impressive when such a simple combination of toy parts can manage to truly capture the essence of a character. That smug face is perfectly reminiscent of the snark of a young less-obviously-insane Mel Gibson. Here’s an image for comparison. And I’m not entirely sure how that hairpiece was created, but I think it’s fantastic. The texture is great…not too detailed, but just enough to get the idea. Perfect for the LEGO aesthetic. Well done.
