Build The Grid…One Cycle At A Time

Us Tron Legacy fans can thank Ewok in Disguise for providing us with step-by-step instructions on how to build these amazing new school light cycles. It’s actually a pretty clever build that incorporates some unconventional use of rubber bands with visors [see Step 4], wedges with a round 1×1 [see Step 7], and a minifig torso connected to a 1×2 hinge [see Step 9] that does an excellent job of mimicking the way the characters in the film seem molded into their bikes. For a comparison shot of the finished MOC with the film’s vehicle designs, click here. I think Ewok in Disguise did an excellent job designing this vehicle. And as with all builders who go out of their way to provide other FOLs with building instructions for blogs like Ka-GO to share with the broader community, I have to send an extra special thanks. It’s that sort of spirit of learning and sharing that I think is at the heart of the Leg Godt / Play Well philosophy that this hobby of ours was built on (pun intended). To access the instructions, click the image above. See you in the games, programs.

I don’t know what I like more…the build or your presentation of it.

I’m going to have to hit you up on which digital ‘tricks’ you used in the pic above…
